D'Addario
Best Strings on the planet! I use the XL-4 longs on both basses. g-.045/d-.065/a-/.085/e-.105 and I use a .130 B on both basses. Super long on the Lull. I don't use tapered strings at all.

Mesa Boogie
My main amp is the Bassis M-2000. It's a great head because you can use the solid state side or the tube side or mix them both to whatever % you'd like. Built in compressor and tuner out. 600 Watts! My two cabs on the road are a 1x15 roadready and a 4x10 roadready (Both with tweeters). I also have a 2x10 kick back monitor for smaller gigs.

Ken Smith
I own 2 Ken Smith Basses. My first was a "92" BT Custom 5-string. I recorded the first 2 Liquid Soul albums with that one. It's Quilted Maple. My second is a "99" BSR EG 5-string. It's flamed Walnut. I recorded the 3rd Liquid Soul with that one. I do most of my recording with the Smith.

Kydd Bass
The Kydd bass is a smaller electric upright that is compact enough to fold up and take on gigs when there's not a lot of room in the van! I hope to play this axe more on stage in the future.

Mike Lull
My Lull Bass is my newest bass. It's my main bass for my gospel hit. It's the 'slappiest' bass I've ever played. It's "35" scale, however, and I'm still getting used to that. It's got Seymore Duncans in it.

Monster Cable
My main cables. All of my rigs are wired by Monster Cable. I use the monster bass for my instruments. They've never let me down on a gig!

Tech 21
I use the Bass Drive DI religously on stage. It fattens up my tone and is an important part of "my" sound. I also have the Landmark 600 as a back up amp.

Retrospec
This is my favorite DI for the studio. However the company recently went out of business.

Planet Waves
Planet Waves is a company owned by D'addario. I now use their staps on all of my basses. They are wider and softer for those long gigs. They also are making some new cables. I also use their bass string winder, saves me a lot of time on changing strings!

Boomerang
I use the Boomerang Phrase Sampler mainly at home for practicing. Once you start playing you can't stop having fun!
